ECUADOR

Living at 3,000 m and beyond is no walk in the park when you have a harsh climate and lacking infrastructure to contend with. Wattle-and-daub houses offer the farmers basic shelter. Their subsistence farming does not allow for the slightest degree of comfort. Families have to scrape together every last penny to pay for the education of their children.

TRIAS supports potato and quinoa farmers and women groups of alpaca wool producers and knitters.
