The Informal sector of Honduras is one of the biggest in the world. Informal employment provides an income source for people who otherwise might not be able to find a job. But informality also means lowered tax revenue for governments, leaving them with insufficient funds for public services and infrastructure.

 

I met this amazing family on the road in Santa Rosa. Since 8 years they are selling fruit from their old Toyota next to the highway. I felt there was so much love amongst them. 

 

Especially Genesis, the blonde 5 year old took my attention. The pureness and wildness of Genesis intrigued me. I hope by growing up, she won’t lose this pureness, which many of us do.
